We'll ignore the overjuiced Gungans that take a million turns in a row, or the fact they wipe out all of your team with a single AOE, or the fact that the game lags massively when the Gungans get a turn even on a top end Android phone or PC, or the fact that a R7 BKM team is struggling to beat this event.
The icing on the cake is the fact that the event keeps crashing after a couple of attempts when you try to enter battle. You just get stuck on the loading screen and have to hard close the app (Android and PC). Given that this event is so RNG dependent (Tarpals has BIg Fish = restart), having to force close and restart every couple of minutes is extremely annoying.

It’s not really making me want to rush Gunghans due to the laggy animations we we are seeing either.
Or rush other teams as I see my Bo Mandalore team crushed by G12s.
Whoever let this out the door should be sacked.

On my three devices, Gungan battles are very slow and laggy.
I too have experienced the load screen that goes nowhere and requires the game to hard restart.3

It’s happening on iOS as well. It’s like they don’t want anyone to enjoy this game mode.

What a joke of a GC. Unlimited TM, 100% evasion, AOE killing off 4 toons with full heal & pro, GL ultimate doing absolutely nothing, enemy modifier tuned up, Mandalorian attack-out-of-turn modifier is canceled out due to Jar Jar frustration buff, and it seems enemy Phalanx may have its omicron active. And this is just on level VII! Can barely hit 100 points (T7 crate) and my roster is close to 10mil. So much for theory crafting.

Oh yeah, and forgot to agree with OP. Freezing during the loading screen 4 out of 5 times, constant lagging during Gungan unlimited turns and unlimited debuffs. Whee!

Yeah I did the Mando feat with BKM and then failed an LV run and then had to force restart 5 attempts in a row because it wouldn't load the GC. Maybe it was DTMG because I eventually removed him and tried someone else.

I love this game, but this is testing me.
F2P since the last time I bought Kyros, Crystals, or the Conquest Pass.

I am getting different stacks of shield generator,am I missing something in the modifiers?
Sometimes it starts with 10 stacks and sometimes it starts with 20 stacks.2

Yes. The inconsistency of shield generator is laughable. It is essential to destroy it to beat Gungans. But you either can't target the shield (because of Jar Jar constant deathmark or Phalanx constant taunt) OR it evades 50% of the time OR it continues to gain stacks when hit (even when hit with a GL ultimate).
Also unsure of the Gungan mechanics: Boss Nass special mentions 20% protection recover, but I've been seeing more than once an ally gain 100% protection recovery (went from none to completely full) after Nass used that particular special. If it didn't lag so much,

This event is bugged. It doesn’t connect to the server 80% of times you try it, forcing you to restart the app over and over.

Very laggy and it froze on loading screen wich forced me to restart the game.
Also how come they get turns while vader has MM, have never come across that with any other team.But I havnt read every gungans kit either so it may be wai

Yup, I do my best to not complain but this **** is absolute garbage. It is simply not playable. I've crashed multiple times, constant lag, and completely broken game mechanics. This is basically the only way to reliably farm omicron mats, so having them gated out for the majority of the community with this nonsense is a really bad look.

And for the record, I was able to finally get t8 crate, but that was only after over an hour of crashes, laggy/glitchy frame rates, and all of the other nonsense everyone is talking about. CG, challenge and broken are not the same things.

As I continue to play this sh@tshow (I desperately only need 6 more points for the T8 crate), I have noticed that SEE does not generate any ultimate charge when his deceived enemies attack? How is this possible? The 2 deceived Gungans are generating so much TM and going so many times, but not once do any of their attacks increase his ultimate? There is nothing in Gungan mechanics that explains this...plus the battle lags so much, half the time I'm unsure what the heck is going on with all the debuffs and attackes. etc.

Yeah, I’m on iOS, and I can’t even play tier 2 because it keeps crashing on me. I have tried multiple times and it stays stuck on the loading screen.

Not sure how much this helps but Inquisitors are good counter as their AoEs can get the sheild generator down quickly.
Mix in LV for the damage over time feat.
Completely agree about the points raised above.

That Gungan Phalanx omi was never about getting us to omi a GC toon. It was all about them making it harder for the players with the teams to beat said GC from been able to lol

Inquisitors helped me get over the final hump too with t8 crate. Took a couple of tries due to RNG but if you've got a Reva-ready GI team you can at least get the 'finish the battle' feat.

Putting aside the issues with OP gungans, the mere fact that the event is so laggy and buggy makes me not want to play it. Keeps freezing up on me

Couple of thoughts:
I spent 4.5 hours on getting the gold box. At this point, the GC rewards stand in absolutely no relation to the time and effort anymore. Smuggler's Run II takes under 15 minutes and the rewards are vastly better. Something needs to be done.
I don't feel that CG honors my investments in very recent content like Mand'alor Bo anymore. I get that it's the Gungans' time to shine and we're supposed to realize how awesome they are, but everyone who has Bo Two Point Oh and her team at r7 is already working on Gungans or already has Jar Jar. I thought GCs were supposed to reward faction investments, not just to show off how awesome the latest content is.
The lag caused by debuff-heavy factions on mobile devices has become unbearable, with seconds-long freezes while the timer continues to count down. I have to give you props for the PC client, which handles everything pretty well so far. But it's not really a mobile game anymore when these performance issues force us to play the PC version.
These problems are exacerbated by the recent bug that forces a restart every time you try to enter a GC with a different team. It happens in both the Android and PC versions. As soon as you swap out more than one team member, the game hangs when trying to enter the battle (endless spinning wheel) and you're forced to close it.

Time to end all GCs.
They aren't fun. They don't provide rewards that need any serious gating. And once or twice a month you get horror shows like this.
Go home, CG, you're drunk. When you get back, end all GCs forever.

Honestly I wouldn’t even mind if they tied omicrons to Gac or Tw at this point, I can’t take another of these Gungan GC’s

These are not a Galactic Challenges...these are Galactic Locks. And if you don't have those key squad(s), you are SOL. I don't consider it a challenge if the content is only tailored for flavor of the month characters.

Galactic challenges haven't really been challenges in a while now. It's more "have the right team and pray you get the right RNG".
Beside that though, this is the 2nd time we have to fight Gungans and the 2nd time it's completely unplayable.
