Modern Warfare 3 is FINALLY here, and with it comes a brand new mastery camo unlock in multiplayer for the MW3 weapons! On top of having Orion from MWII MP as a mastery camo grind you can either finish or unlock fresh; they added a BRAND NEW camo called Interstellar that’s unlockable for Modern Warfare III weapons! GILDED CAMO
Gilded is the new Gold camo equivalent in Modern Warfare 3. Enable to unlock the challenge for Gilded, you must complete the 4 base camo challenges for that specific weapon.
Each weapon class will have a different set of challenges for each. For example; Assault Rifles challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
- Get 50 Kills while ADS
- Get 15 Headshot Kills
- Get 25 Kills while in Tactical Stance
The Battle Rifles challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
- Get 50 Kills while Fully Auto
- Get 10 Kills while using a magnification scope attachment
- Get 15 Headshot kills
While SMG challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
- Get 25 Hipfire Kills
- Get 10 Kills while crouching or sliding
- Get 15 Kills on operators affected by your tactical
The Shotgun challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
- Get 50 Hipfire Kills
- Get 10 Kills while ADS
- Get 15 Double Kills
The LMG challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
- Get 10 Penetration Kills
- Get 10 Kills with full attachments
- Get 10 Double Kills
The Marksman Rifles challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
- Get 50 Headshot Kills
- Get 10 Kills with no attachments
- Get 2 Kills without dying 15 times
The Sniper Rifles challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
- Get 50 Kills shortly after ADS
- Get 3 Kills with 1 magazine 10 times
- Get 15 One Shot Kills
The Pistol challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
- Get 50 Kills while ADS
- Get 10 Kills While Moving
- Get 15 Kills with the akimbo attachment equipped
The Launchers challenges are:
- Get 25 Kills
The Melee challenges are:
- Get 50 Kills
Once you’ve done every base camo for a singular weapon, you can then attempt the Gilded challenge for that singular weapon. NOTE: You do not have to complete the entire weapon class’ base camo challenges to unlock the Gilded challenge; you can do it one weapon at a time!
Just like the base camo challenges, each mastery has a challenge specific to each weapon class. For example; the challenge for the Assault Rifles is:
- Get 3 Operator Kills with 1 Magazine 10 Times
The Battle Rifles challenge is:
- Get 3 Operator Kills with 1 Magazine 10 Times
The SMG challenge is:
- Get 10 Kills without the enemy damaging you
The Shotgun challenge is:
- Get 2 Kills shortly after Sprinting in 1 life
The LMG challenge is:
- Get 2 Kills without releasing the trigger 10 times
The Marksman Rifle challenge is:
- Get 10 Kills while using a laser attachment
The Sniper Rifles challenge is:
- Get 10 Kills while Focused Down Sights 10 Times
The Pistol challenge is:
- Get 10 Kills without the enemy damaging you
The Launchers challenge is:
- Get 10 Kills by hitting the enemy with a direct impact
The Melee challenge is:
- Get 10 Kills on operators affected by your tactical
FORGED CAMO
The Forged camo is available for unlock after you’ve completed a certain amount of weapons for each class:
- Assault Rifles – 6 Gilded Camo Challenges
- Battle Rifles – 3 Gilded Camo Challenges
- SMG – 6 Gilded Camo Challenges
- Shotgun – 3 Gilded Camo Challenges
- LMG – 4 Gilded Camo Challenges
- Marksman Rifles – 4 Gilded Camo Challenges
- Sniper Rifles – 3 Gilded Camo Challenges
- Pistol – 4 Gilded Camo Challenges
- Launchers – 1 Gilded Camo Challenge
- Melee – 2 Gilded Camo Challenges
Now that you’ve unlocked each Forged challenge, you need to start doing each weapon individually. Starting with the Assault Rifles; the challenges are:
- Get 25 Kills with an underbarrel attachment
The Battle Rifles challenge is:
- Get 25 One Shot One Kills
The SMG challenge is:
- Get 3 Kills without dying 10 times
The Shotgun challenge is:
- Get 25 1 Shot Kills while ADS
The LMG challenge is:
- Get 25 Kills while using a magnification scope attachment
The Marksman Rifle challenge is:
- Get 3 Kills with 1 magazine 15 times
The Sniper Rifles challenge is:
- Get 15 Penetration Kills
The Pistol challenge is:
- Get 25 Longshot Kills
The Launchers challenge is:
- Destroy 25 Enemy Equipment
The Melee challenge is:
- Get 5 Kills Without Dying 5 times
PRICELESS (ANIMATED)
Finally, the last mastery camo keeping you from the final Interstellar camo is the Priceless camo! The challenge for Priceless will unlock after you’ve completed 36 Forged camo challenges.
This means at launch you’ll have to do every weapon. NOTE: Whenever a new weapon gets added, that counts for one of the 36; meaning, if two weapons get added in a new season, then you’re allowed to skip whichever two weapons you don’t want to do!
The Assault Rifle challenge is:
- Get 15 Operator Headshot Kills with a Magnification Scope
The Battle Rifles challenge is:
- Get 15 Semi-Auto Headshots with a Magnification Scope
The SMG challenge is:
- Get 15 Headshots while Moving
The Shotgun challenge is:
- Get 5 Kills without dying 5 times
The LMG challenge is:
- Get 3 Operator Kills with 1 Magazine 10 Times
The Marksman Rifle challenge is:
- Get 5 Kills without dying 5 times
The Sniper Rifles challenge is:
- Get 5 Headshots while Moving
The Pistol challenge is:
- Kill 25 Enemies affected by your Tactical using the akimbo attachment
The Launchers challenge is:
- Get 25 Double Kills
The Melee challenge is:
- Get 15 Revenge Kills
INTERSTELLAR (ANIMATED)
To unlock Interstellar, you must complete 36 Priceless camo challenges; meaning if you have completed every mastery challenge as stated previously, then you will have unlocked Interstellar! As stated before, you only need 36 Priceless camo competitions; meaning if a new weapon is added, you are able to skip certain weapons you don’t want to do in replacement!
