Former Dancing With the Stars pro Sharna Burgess is already a mom of one and a stepmom to four, but she still wants to have another child and expand her largeblended family with fiancé Brian Austin Green.

While doing a Q&A with fans on her Instagram Story on June 19, Burgess was asked if she wants to try for baby no. 2. “I do. I would love to add one more to our pack. A girl,” the pro dancer responded before clarifying that she is “not pregnant.”

Burgess met Green through their mutual business manager in October 2020 and the pair began dating shortly after. They went on to compete in Season 30 of DWTS, becoming the first partners to enter the show as a couple. In June 2022, Burgess welcomed their son, Zane Walker Green, who is now 2 years old. Exactly one year later, Green asked Burgess to marry him. The Beverly Hills 90210 star is also a father to sons Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 7, whom he shares with ex-wife Megan Fox, as well as son Kassius, 22, whom he welcomed with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil in 2002.

The Australian native has been candid about her desire to have another child, but she’s also taking into account their already large family. “If we have the space and the ability to, would we love to? I certainly would, but we do have four young kids in the home and life is very, very busy,” she said during a January 2024 episode of her and Green’s podcast Old-Ish. She added that she “loves motherhood” and feels “called to it.” The couple also revealed that Burgess’ pregnancy was not planned. “If we do it again, I do want the experience of us planning it together, doing the pregnancy tests and really being on this journey together,” she said.

Green, on the hand, seems less open to the idea, noting that “logistically things have changed a lot since Zane’s birth.” He also shared that after Zane’s birth, he made the decision to have a vasectomy. “I was like, ‘I think it’s time to close the shop,’” he said.

However, according to the Mayo Clinic, most vasectomies are reversible. “We can move forward and plan if that should be in the stars for us,” Burgess said, noting that they would probably do IVF.

The couple previously addressed whether they want to have more kids during a December 2022 interview with PEOPLE. “I’m so in love with being a mom and so in love with Zane, so that flips both sides of the coin,” she told the outlet. “I would love to do it again, but I also want to give my absolute everything to this boy that we have.” Green chimed in and added: “It changes everything … You got to think traveling and school and driving. It’s everything, [even] hotel rooms. From five to six is a big step.”

Burgess competed on Dancing With the Stars for seasons 16-30 and won the Mirrorball Trophy in 2018 with partner Bobby Bones. In 2022, she took a season off to spend time with her then-newborn son and hasn’t been asked back as a pro since. She was also excluded from the Len Goodman tribute dance during Season 32, which featured multiple former pros. Despite the snub, Burgess told fans during the Q&A that she has “no beef” with the show. “No, I definitely do not have beef with the show or anyone on it. It’s all love,” she said on her Instagram Stories. “Not being brought back last year does not eliminate over a decade of friendship and connection and memory. I think sometimes people forget that Instagram and media is but a fraction of our real world.”

Of the Len Goodman tribute, she said: “I haven’t made a single comment publicly about the tribute because of a few reasons. Firstly… I know it’s not about me it’s about Len and the honor he deserved. Secondly… This hurt more than not being asked back and I’m working through it.”
